What can I expect?

At your first appointment with one of our aestheticians, your skin will be thoroughly evaluated before we recommend a treatment plan.

Facial treatments remove the outer layer of the skin to stimulate the growth of new skin underneath. To bring out your best results, we carry the ALASTIN Skincare line for aftercare and daily use. We also offer Hydrafacials. Our wax, brow/lash and makeup services are great ways to enhance or rejuvenate your looks and reduce daily hassle.

These treatments are non-invasive without a recovery period in medical terms. However, for some of our peels you may want to allow for several days of redness and shedding skin while following our aftercare protocol.

Each patient is unique. Our licensed medical aesthetician will assess your skin to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Which skincare treatment is right for me?

If your goal is face rejuvenation, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, dermablade, microneedling, hydrafacial, a laser or chemical peel can be used to treat sun damage, uneven skin tone, wrinkles & fine lines, hyperpigmentation, age spots, or acne scarring. All of these treatments resurface the skin and stimulate collagen to promote new skin growth. But the techniques are different.

Microdermabrasion is like an abrasive sanding of the skin surface. Microneedling reaches the skin under the surface by means of tiny needles. Morpheus combines RF skin tightening with microneedling for an even greater effect. All these are great treatments for sensitive skin as well as darker skin tones that don’t respond that well to laser treatments, but laser treatments can achieve excellent results for certain skin issues. Chemical peels achieve similar results as the above treatments, but the process is chemical rather than physical, via the application of a liquid to the skin. Dermaplaning is a more manual form of resurfacing using a fine blade to peel away the outer layer of the skin. See our Hydrafacial page for additional options.

Yes. Certain laser treatments don’t work well on darker skin tones, but this is where microdermabrasion and microneedling can step in to give you great results without the worry of hypopigmentation, hyperpigmentation, or other forms of burning.

Our Dermasweep microdermabrasion system is particularly well suited for sensitive skin, including rosacea-prone skin, blemish-prone skin and the area around the eyes, yet it is also strong enough for fine lines, wrinkles, tone and texture.

After your skin treatment, our aesthetician typically applies product to your skin. The removal of the outer layer of skin allows for these products to penetrate deeper for immediate rejuvenation, and we offer this as part of your treatment. In addition, we offer products to purchase for at home use from Alastin and PCA to continue your skin’s improvement with daily use.

Laser skin resurfacing is well suited to treat sun overexposure and other signs of aging. It is fast, promotes the formation of new tissue as you heal, and your downtime is minimal. It can be used on the face as well as the neck, décolleté, and hands.

IPL (Intense Pulse Light) therapy is an alternative to laser resurfacing that works well for patients with darker skin tones, or for larger areas.

Yes. Our aestheticians are very skilled at scar removal by combining various skin treatments, and sometimes work minor miracles to remove scars you have carried with you for years, maybe even since puberty. Scar revision also works well to treat any kind of surgical scars, even if they are not recent.
