Whether you’re unhappy with your body after pregnancy and childbirth or simply due to aging, we want to help you regain your confidence. We hope the following questions help you understand the procedure and how we perform it at NuBody Concepts. Contact us if you have any additional questions or to schedule a consultation.
A Mommy Makeover is a customizable procedure designed around your aesthetic goals for your body. Typically, we combine a tummy tuck with a breast augmentation. The breast augmentation may involve breast implants or NaturalFill® for Breasts and/or a breast lift—depending on your desired look. If you’d like to eliminate extra fat or add more curves to certain areas, your Mommy Makeover may include Liposuction or a Brazilian Butt Lift as well.
Many women are also choosing to include a labiaplasty (also known as vaginal rejuvenation) as part of their Mommy Makeover procedure. A labiaplasty is an increasingly popular procedure that reduces the size of the inner lip of the female genitalia (labia minora).
A NuBody Mommy Makeover is all about you. During a consultation, we’ll discuss your current concerns and future aesthetic goals before designing a package to help you achieve the look you want. In addition to breast and abdominal surgery, we may use less-invasive procedures like liposuction and fat transfer to help shape your body.
At NuBody Concepts, we strive to keep your recovery time to a minimum so that you can resume your daily activities as soon as possible. Most of our patients are back to their normal routines after one week, depending on their jobs. If your Mommy Makeover involves tightening of the muscles as well as the skin, your recovery time may be longer. We do recommend that you abstain from heavy lifting and exercise for a minimum of two weeks after your Mommy Makeover surgery.
Yes. It is possible to have both a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation and go through pregnancy afterward. While some women prefer to wait with tummy tuck surgery until they are done with childbirth, there is no reason you can’t have a tummy tuck at any time. If you have questions or concerns about childbirth and plastic surgery, it is best to schedule a consultation with our plastic surgeon.
