Susan G. Komen Fundraiser

NuBody Concepts Gives Back

If you ask the staff at NuBody Concepts what it is they love about their jobs, the overwhelming answer from everyone is “helping others feel good about themselves.” There is something about seeing our patients smile when they look in the mirror that is very gratifying to those who have been at their side throughout their personal transformation.

This October, we decided to take the “helping others” aspect of our practice a step further. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we decided to donate a portion of our proceeds from every Aqualipo procedure to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help fight breast cancer. Aqualipo is our signature liposuction procedure that thousands of patients have come to rely on for a slimmer, more contoured body without the hassle, stress, and downtime of traditional liposuction.

We were very excited to present our total donation of $1,750 to the Middle Tennessee chapter of Susan G. Komen last week.

Susan G. Komen Check from NuBody Concepts

While this was our first major fundraising drive to benefit our local community, it certainly won’t be the last. Many of our employees are avid advocates for various causes in their own right, from Autism awareness to animal rescue and volunteering at Children’s hospitals. NuBody Concepts will continue to support efforts where we can help make a difference.

A big Thank You to our October Aqualipo patients – You made it possible for us to contribute to the fight against breast cancer in Middle Tennessee!

All this can be combined in one single procedure so that you get evenly toned results all the way around.

How to Know When You Need a Tummy Tuck

Tummy tucks have been around for such a long time that we mention them in the same breath as “diet” and “exercise.” If you have unwanted belly fat and/or loose skin, no matter how much of it, a tummy tuck can get rid of it. However, there are also less-invasive options for fat removal and skin tightening for patients who don’t want surgery.
